Ever since we heard “Close” for the first time by Ryan Kinder, we’ve been hooked on his music.
Anxious to see what the Knoxville-born, Alabama-raised artist has coming for us this year, we squealed with excitement when we were invited to Kinder’s intimate show in Nashville last week. Ryan has been hard at work perfecting his debut album, and we knew we were going to get a taste of it at Layman Drug Co.
To kick off the exciting evening, Kinder showed the new heart-wrenching music video for his tune “Still Believe In Crazy Love.” The video exemplifies that love takes shapes in many different forms- whether its through your husband, wife, parents, a family member who has passed away, or even your dog. To make the video even better, CMT’s Cody Alan makes a special appearance!
Following the video, it was time to hear the new music. It was such a treat to see Kinder in a tiny room filled with other music lovers. He interacted with the audience and fed off the passionate energy embedded in the other people in the room.
It seems as if Ryan also enjoyed the performance as much as the audience did, as he posted an Instagram photo the following morning saying, “Last night was just right. New tunes. Felt good.”
After this tease of new music, we cannot wait for everyone to hear all of these amazing songs Ryan is planning on releasing. Ryan is different from every other country artist out right now, as his voice is very intriguing and his guitar skills are unmatchable. He has the ability to appeal to the fans of many genres due to his inherent talent.
