The world will be graced with Caroline Jones‘ original music as she’s releasing Bare Feet EP this Friday, August 25th.
The six-track extended play is one not to miss. The songs are written and co-produced by Jones and are bound to make a huge impact on the country music scene. It’s the perfect blend of country, pop, and rock with a hint of blues!
Celeb Secrets Country attended the WME Speakeasy in Nashville, Tennessee where we saw Caroline perform for the first time. Did you know that she’s amazing live? Her stage presence is bold and captivating with her powerhouse vocals; it is easy to see why she is destined for greatness! Country superstar Zac Brown seems to agree with us too, as he’s had Caroline open for Zac Brown Band on the Welcome Home Tour this entire summer!
Before her performance, Caroline sat down with CS Country to chat all about Bare Feet EP, the best lesson she’s learned from being on the road, and her quirky secrets — you have got to read the full Q&A below for more!

Celeb Secrets Country: Tell us what you’ve been doing all summer!
Caroline Jones: “I’ve been touring with the Zac Brown Band all summer! We’re going to keep doing that through the fall so its been a great summer.”
Celeb Secrets Country: What is the best lesson you have learned from being on the road with Zac Brown Band?
Caroline Jones: “There are so many! Honestly, I’ve been a fan for a very long time, and I stalk the people that I am a fan of, so I knew a lot about Zac Brown Band, but they have surpassed every expectation in their kindness, their professionalism, their standards of excellence. And for me, the mark of a true leader is that not only are you kind, and do you have integrity, but everyone that works around you and for you, and comes to your show, understands the mission and is a part of it. Every single person that gets on a tour bus for Zac Brown Band, is kind and good at their job, and works very hard at their job.”
Celeb Secrets Country: What is it like to perform in front of so many people each night?
Caroline Jones: “The Zac Brown Band fans are so into music! When they feel that you are out there for the music, they eat it up! It is a rare thing to have people who are so welcoming and so kind, love a brand new opening act. We’ve had a great response!”
Celeb Secrets Country: What can you tell us about your EP, Bare Feet, that you are releasing next week!?
Caroline Jones: “The EP is 6 songs, and I wrote it! I co-produced it, and I wrote every single song. It is my baby and I am so proud of it! I’m also proud of the production, it is a good blend of country and pop elements. There are acoustic, organic elements and electric elements, so we worked really hard to make the production hit hard.”
Celeb Secrets Country: What kind of songs can we expect to hear on Bare Feet?
Caroline Jones: ““Tough Guys” is more of a departure for me, because it is rooted in blues. I grew up listening to blues, and I loved it. Most of it is more in the country/pop/rock realm, but for that reason, “Tough Guys” is a great song to have in our set because it gets everyone down and dirty.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Can you tell us the story behind “Country Girl?”
Caroline Jones: “Yes, that is a really special song to me! “Country Girl” is a song where every single word off of the lyric is true. It is a song I wrote about my family and my upbringing. I was raised in the northeast, but my dad is from the south and he wanted to raise us they way he was raised, with the same values. He has a great love for the outdoors, and hunting, and fishing, and he used to try to get us to bait the live worm on the hook, me and my sisters would not want to do it, but he would ask if we wanted to be a city girl or a country girl, and we would always say ‘country girl!’ The song is the story of my family and my life. As you grow up you get to see the sacrifices, that no family is perfect, and everybody does the best they can. By doing the best they can and following their dreams, they give you a platform for you to follow your dreams. As you grow up you realize that and you have so much more compassion for things that maybe were hard to understand when you were young, and that is what that song is about.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Since we are Celeb Secrets Country, what is a secret about yourself that you wish to share with us?
Caroline Jones: “This is kind of a nerdy secret, but I really love to wake up early! I am such a morning person and most artists are not. But I love to wake up early, and I am a coffee snob so I do my pour over coffee, it’s so cozy and I love that time. That’s when I write too!”
