Caroline Jones, the country-pop singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, has the lyrics and guitar licks to stand her ground on tour with Grammy darlings Zac Brown Band. Now, the indie artist who opted to stand on her own two feet has announced the upcoming release her six-song Bare Feet EP on Aug 25th. The pre-order is available now on iTunes HERE.
Bare Feet was co-produced by Caroline Jones and Ric Wake (Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Trisha Yearwood) and shows Jones’ salty and sweet range.

On “Tough Guys,” she declares, “I’m selfish if I please myself, I’m good if I please you. I’m a rebel if I don’t fit in the box, I’m a talent if I do.” And she ends on an empowered note, declaring, “Courage is all dreams need to live/your fiction is my fact/Tough guys, wantin’ this girl to play nice/I don’t mean to play rough guys/I’m just trusting my gut guys.”
“Rise (Sing It Loud)” is contagious and unapologetic as she resolves to move on, “I can feel the deep blue miles from my feet. Coming up for air, conscience coming clean. I have left the past at the bottom of the sea.”
On “Country Girl”, her vulnerability shines when she misses home, singing, “I’m a country girl, I love the trees and the flowers and those well spent hours staring up at the stars. I’m a country girl though I live in the city. And those lights sure are pretty, but I’d happily rather be sitting on the porch picking on my guitar.”
Throughout the fall, Jones will continue to support Zac Brown Band on their Welcome Home Tour – next up is Coors Field in Denver, CO on Saturday, July 29th. She’ll also perform at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville, TN as a part of WME’s “Speakeasy” showcase on Wednesday, August 16.
