For the first time in their record-breaking career, MULTI-PLATINUM superstar duo Florida Georgia Line headlined a trifecta of SOLD-OUT stadium shows this summer, culminating with a pinnacle performance at Chicago’s historic Wrigley Field Saturday night (8/12).

After dominating both Boston’s Fenway Park (7/7) and Minneapolis’ Target Field (7/29), the home of the Chicago Cubs’ baseball team was jam-packed with rabid fans. As part of FGL’s genre-smashing THE SMOOTH TOUR 2017, Hip-Hop icon Nelly and breakout Country star Chris Lane got the ultimate party started alongside Pop idols Backstreet Boys before the duo rounded out the night.

Sliding through hit after hit, FGL took their live show to another level, introducing bass-bumping uncut tracks – aka “FGL Underground Party Jams” – “Turnt” and “Swerve.” Full of good vibes, the stacked audience also enjoyed a sweet moment as Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard surprised their wives with roses on stage that lead into an impromptu sing-along of their 3X PLATINUM-certified No. 1 smash “H.O.L.Y.”

“We both decided that when we got married, we’d be different husbands in this industry and we just have to prove that by our actions day by day,” admitted Kelley. “We love y’all so much – thank you for being the best wives ever.”

Hubbard added, “Chicago, give it up for them one time. These are the ladies behind the men – they make it happen, I promise y’all.”

“This is starting to feel like one big ‘ol happy family reunion on a Saturday night,” Hubbard shared about Backstreet Boys, after joining together for heart-melting ballad “God, Your Mama, And Me.” The PLATINUM-certified tune signals FGL’s 13th career No. 1 and the first time Backstreet Boys have contributed to a Country chart-topping single. Massive fireworks and flamethrowers fueled the high-wired encore medley as FGL teamed up with their special guests for Backstreet Boys’ iconic “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and the DIAMOND-certified “Cruise” with Nelly, who returned to the stage after pumping up the already high-octane atmosphere with “Hot in Herre.”

Knocking it out of the park decked in personalized Cub jerseys, FGL (alongside Backstreet Boys) wrapped the big event popping champagne bottles before saying goodnight to Wrigley Field.

THE SMOOTH TOUR 2017 continues with its explosive lineup through the fall, capping with a two-night stand at the Verizon Amphitheater in Alpharetta, Georgia, on October 20 and 21. The coast-to-coast concerts are sponsored by Advance Auto Parts and presented by Old Camp Whiskey. Live Nation is the official tour promoter.

FGL appear across back-to-back television appearances, performing their new single “Smooth”Wednesday (8/16) on both ABC’s CMA FEST: THE MUSICAL EVENT OF THE SUMMER (8:00P ET) and NBC’s LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS (12:35A ET). The high-profile pair will also join host Meyers for a desk-side chat.
