This morning (4/8) on T’s Coffee Talk, Trisha Yearwood stopped by a Barnes & Noble in Las Cruces, NM to check out the newly released paperback version of her New York Times bestselling cookbook, Trisha’s Table.

The cookbook, which came out in paperback this past Monday, April 4th, is filled with healthy twists for comfort food classics, such as dairy-free Angel Hair Pasta with Avocado Pesto, low calorie Chicken Salad, and vegetarian Smashed Sweet Pea Burgers.

As a part of her cookbook release tradition, Trisha browsed the isles of the bookstore in order to find where the copies of her book were located. Trisha’s love of cooking led her to getting lost in the rows of cookbooks and purchasing a few of her own. Fans and employees were quick to spot the Food Network star and helped guide her to the Trisha’s Table display, which she circled back to after the live chat to sign copies and take pictures.

The chat led into today’s episode of Trisha Southern Kitchen, where Trisha and her sister, Beth, ventured to a local farm. The sisters gathered fresh ingredients to use in dishes such as Slow Cooker Pork LoinMushroom, Asparagus and Arugula Risotto, and Strawberry Buttermilk Ice Cream with Homemade Waffle Cones.
