Lee’s music is a combination of heartfelt lyrics with a pop vibe that is soothing to any ear. He credits his biggest inspiration to be “Bryan Adams.”
“I feel like his stuff was mainly pop in the 80’s, but his sound evolved to have a little bit of pop, a little bit of rock, and he was singing to the ladies.” Lee joked.
However, he is not just a one genre type of man. Lee let us into his Spotify account and his most recent played artists were, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, and Brooks & Dunn. Clearly his taste in music is as diverse as the music he makes. In addition to his recently played artists, Lee is also quite the Matthew McConaughey fan, so much so that his ideal day would be to cruise around Hollywood with the star.
“I would like to drive around Hollywood with Matthew McCaughney and just get his take on what he thinks.” Lee Stated. “I have some friends that are trying to do the acting thing in LA right now, and I get to see what they go through every single day from time to time, Matthew McCaughney also had to go through that at some point. I would like to see how he dealt with that, because I bet that he dealt with that pretty awesomely.”
However, don’t worry ladies, if Lee’s songs and sentiments are too much for you we have just the story to bring your heads back down to earth.
Graciously, Lee enlightened us with his most embarrassing moment. That being that he has peed himself on stage before. (and we are not talking 4 or 5). The country singer wet himself while singing on stage when he was 12 years old, and boy do our preteen hearts go out to him. Have no fear, that definitely did not get Lee down.
“To be embarrassed you have to have shame, and I am a little bit shameless sometimes. I have so many embarrassing things that happen to me on a regular basis, that it really doesn’t even effect me anymore. I am really am just a big goob.”
