In a few hours from now, all of our favorite country artists will be at the Bridgestone Arena for the 50th Annual CMA Awards!
Celeb Secrets Country had the opportunity to speak with Cassadee Pope ahead of tonight’s show on her Vocal Event of the Year nomination for her No. 1 song “Think of You” with fellow artist Chris Young.
“When I heard the news about my nomination, I couldn’t believe it,” Cassadee told CS Country exclusively. “‘Think of You’ changed my life forever; it opened so many doors, so many opportunities, and even gave me my first number one song! Getting to share it with Chris is really special because we’ve gotten to become really good friends, and this is just the start of many new duets to come between us.”
While this will be the fourth consecutive year Pope will be attending, tonight’s show is extra special for the Florida native for many reasons. “The CMA Awards will be really cool this year because I get to go for free this time! I’m going to feel like I actually belong there, which is really cool.”
