Tyler Chambers is entering is “sad boy country” era with his latest single, and Celeb Secrets Country has your first listen before it hits music streaming platforms tomorrow (November 17).
Co-written with Johnny Clawson and Daymon Osborn, Chambers finds himself getting into different type of bar brawl with “Bar Fight,” as its premise is a spinning a story about a man wrestling with his impulses to imbibe after heading to a bar following a breakup.
“‘Bar Fight’ is one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever written and I’m very excited to release it,” Chambers shares in a statement. “This song is about a sad, broken-hearted man that ends up at a bar drinking his sorrows away. It’s about fighting a mental battle with yourself and trying to pull yourself out of it. I’ve been through plenty of them, and you have to learn to lean on the Lord and not the bar.”
With colder temperatures on the rise, Tyler’s mid-tempo track is the perfect addition to your “sad boy country playlist” when you’re cozied up by a fire ready to get in your feels. Filled with introspective guitar as Chambers’ voice sets the scene, the driving production picks up when the song’s chorus hits, swelling to emphasize the narrator’s internal struggle as he takes his heartbreak out on the bar.
“It was just the perfect time of year for this song where time seems to slow down a bit and fall brings that bonfire weather back around,” Chambers tells Celeb Secrets Country.

Revealing that the track is his “highest peer reviewed song since making his way to Nashville,” the sad story detailed in “Bar Fight” is relatable to the listener at some point in their life.
“When you feel like you are somewhere you have never been and don’t know what to do about it — that sad story rings true for a lot of people in life at some point or another,” he shares.
“Bar Fight” follows a string of releases from the budding singer, including “It’s Raining,” “Loves Me Like A Small Town,” “Best Damn Beer” and “Dirt Road For Days.” As for what’s next, Tyler will take time to spend with his loved ones during the holidays before releasing an EP and hitting the road with Dylan Marlowe this spring.
