Country music fans can consider themselves LUCKY this St. Patrick’s day, as some of the hottest names in the genre have released new party-worthy originals.
Multi-platinum artist Luke Combs is days away from releasing his fourth studio album, “Gettin’ Old.” The 18-song collection, which features his chart-topping tracks “Growin’Up And Gettin’ Old” and “Love You Anyway” is due to drop on March 24. The highly anticipated project will include “5 Leaf Clover,” an eye-opening ballad displaying Combs’ contagious grit and immaculate lyricism. The sensation penned the happy-go-lucky single alongside esteemed songsmiths and long-time collaborators Jessi Alexander and Chase McGill.
Most recently, Combs turned to social media to share the inspiration behind the heart-tugging lyrics.

“A while back, my buddy Newdy and I were looking around the clover plot at my house for 4 leaf clovers. I eventually found one, but shortly thereafter, he found a 5 Leaf Clover, and I thought to myself, ‘Man, how lucky do you have to be to find a 5 Leaf Clover?’ Didn’t think too much of it at the time, but wrote that down as a title in my phone,” wrote the hitmaker. “A few weeks later, I was writing with Jessi Alexander and Chase McGill, and it came up. It still wasn’t really anything that jumped off the page to me, but I shared the idea and guitar melody I had with them, and they loved it. We ended up writing the song that day,” he added.
“5 Leaf Clover” is not this week’s only highly anticipated single on rotation. Kelsea Ballerini’s ex-husband and country artist Morgan Evans dropped “On My Own Again” about their public divorce, Walker Hayes released “If Father Time Had A Daughter,” a personal track about parenthood, and Logan Crosby shared an ultimate drinking song called “Everybody’s Drunk.”
Other ear-grabbing tunes come from musicians such as – Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, Bailey Zimmerman, Erin Kinsey, Sean Stemaly, Jake Worthington, Seaforth, A Boy Named Banjo, Jackson Dean, Luke Grimes, Andrew Jannakos, Cole Swindell and Cooper Alan.
