Chris Lane is entering a new phase in his life and we could not be more stoked about it.
The chart-topping entertainer, husband and father is officially back in the spotlight with the release of his brand new EP From Where I’m Sippin, which is out now via his new label Red Street Records.
“I feel like I’ve got a great team of people around me. It’s allowed me to have a little bit more creative control and freedom,” Chris shared about his new label. “Nobody’s more excited about that [new label] than I am.”
Featuring five new fresh-Country concoctions – four of which were co-written by the hitmaker himself – the EP was produced by Derek Wells with additional production from Michael Lotten, and marks another step forward for a top-shelf creator. Announced just last month, it finds Lane refining his mix of energy and emotion, fusing gratitude, good times and more with ear-catching melodies, effortless charm and clever wordplay.
“I’m very proud of this project,” Lane tells Celeb Secrets Country reporter Ilana Epstein exclusively in a virtual interview. “It gives off a feel-good vibe that fans love.”
In just a week, From Where I’m Sippin has received over 300,000 streams on Spotify. Fans were anticipating the release of this EP since “Find Another Bar” dropped back in August, and it’s safe to say that they were pretty pleased with how the full project turned out.
“‘Find Another Bar’ was just the first song that we recorded and everybody at the label really loved that one a lot,” he shares. “Everybody has to have a good breakup song in country music.”
Along with the fuzzed out and frustrated lead single currently climbing the Country radio charts, themes range from unexpected romantic perfection (“Mistake”) and bittersweet heartbreak (“Way to Go Girl”), to a flirtatious gamble with high stakes (“Betcha”) and the good-life gratitude driving Lane’s open-hearted title track (“From Where I’m Sippin’”).

Although Chris has had a stacked few months releasing music, the 39-year-old has been keeping busy at home with his wife — former Bachelor Nation star Lauren Bushnell Lane — and two children.
“The last two years have definitely been a little bit of a blur, with having kids so close together, and a lot of sleepless nights. It’s definitely been challenging, but I feel like we are at a beautiful part in life, and a challenging part in life at the same time,” he reveals.
