Country music duo Tim & Taylor are spreading the love in their new single “Asking For A Friend,” and Celeb Secrets Country has your first look at the fun new visual today (October 28).

The country duo and real-life couple, who released the tongue-in-cheek country tune yesterday, tells Celeb Secrets Country that “Asking For A Friend” was actually written by all guys, and adding Taylor’s vocals was “really special.”

“‘Just Asking For A Friend’ was written by guys, so it was really special to have Taylor take the lead vocal on this one and give it a female perspective,” Tim tells CS Country, with Taylor adding, “We really appreciate the clever songwriting behind the track and the opportunity it gave us to take our instrumentation and harmony to the next level in the best way. It has the feel of tradition while still sounding fresh and new.”

“Just Asking For A Friend” is the follow-up to the duo’s previous release, “Main on the Roof of This Car,” which premiered on CMT earlier this year. The Nashville-based duo are always on the road, as they play roughly 250 shows each year. The happily married couple has opened for artists like Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Toby Keith and Lee Ann Womack to name a few, with the list getting bigger and bigger each day.

As for what’s next, Tim & Taylor promise that new music will come in the new year, as they have been spending significant time in the recording studio perfecting their traditional country sound that has a modern twist.
