Is there anything Carrie Underwood can’t do?

The singer not only made history at the 2022 CMT Music Awards, but she also put on an incredible performance that left us with our jaws on the floor!

The performance was pre-recorded from the Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas where the country singer is having her residency. The 39-year-old looked stunning in a purple sparkly jumpsuit that had a long fluffy train attached.

Underwood performed her hit song “Ghost Story,” which showcased her stunning vocals. But the singer didn’t stop there! Towards the end of the performance, Underwood was lifted in the air as she performed aerial stunts all while singing. The incredible performance took the audience’s breath away.

Despite having a pre-recorded performance, Underwood was in attendance at the award show in Nashville, TN. This was a good thing because she ended up taking home two CMT Awards for some of the biggest categories of the evening, including “Collaborative Video of the Year” and “Video of the Year” for her song with Jason Aldean titled “If I Didn’t Love You.”

Underwood was filled with excitement as she took the time to really thank the fans and CMT in her acceptance speech. With these two wins, Underwood remains the most awarded artist in CMT history with a total of 25 wins.
