The Judds are back, baby!

The iconic mother-daughter Country duo will will reunite for the first time in more than two decades on a nationally televised award show stage when they perform at the 2022 CMT Music Awards, airing April 11th on CBS and Paramount+.

According to CMT, the duo will make a triumphant return to the stage to perform their international hit and chart-topping single, “Love Can Build A Bridge” with the iconic landmark of Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame as their background, a nod to the duo’s upcoming 2022 induction. The  Naomi and Wynonna will be introduced by two-time CMT Awards nominee Kacey Musgraves, who will acknowledge the lasting influence that The Judds’ music has had on her career before taking the stage.

The Judds’ performance on the CMTMA stage later this month will be the first for Naomi and Wynonna. Previously, Wynonna performed alongside Kid Rock to open the 2011 award show, and Naomi served as a show presenter in both 2008 and 2009.

The Judds join the growing list of star-studded artists that are slated to take the stage at country music’s only fan-voted show, which includes Kelsea BalleriniKane BrownLuke CombsCody JohnsonMiranda LambertLittle Big TownMaren Morris + Ryan HurdCarly PearceCole Swindell + Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban, Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Jessie James Decker, Elvie Shane and Caitlyn Smith.

Last month, the network revealing its nominees for the 2022 CMT Music Awards, with superstar Kane Brown leading the star-studded nominations with four nods; co-host Kelsea Ballerini, Mickey Guyton and first-time nominees BRELAND and Cody Johnson follow close behind with three each. Tenille Arts, Priscilla Block, H.E.R., Paul Klein of LANY, MacKenzie Porter, Elvie Shane, Caitlyn Smith and Brittney Spencer also received their first CMT recognition, with 10 total first-time nominees across all categories. Fans can vote for their favorites until April 4th here.

Hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Anthony Mackie the 2022 CMT Music Awards will air LIVE from Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, April 11th @ 8/7c on CBS and Paramount+.
