Happy New Music Friday, country fans!
It might not be February – but love is certainly in their air, thanks to Thomas Rhett and the one and only Luke Combs. Music City has not been sleeping on us this week, as Luke Combs dropped his highly anticipated music video for his top-10-and-climbing single, “Forever After All.” Meanwhile, Thomas Rhett blessed us with the last few tracks to complete his COUNTRY AGAIN: SIDE A record – which highlights the beautiful love story between him and his beloved wife, Lauren Akins.
On Wednesday, April 28 Combs proved that fairy tales are real with his “Forever After All” music video that offers a glimpse inside of his intimate wedding with his wife, Nicole Hocking. The couple exchanged vows beachside in August of 2020 and they documented the picturesque moment.
In true storyteller fashion, Combs utilized the striking footage and incorporated the wedding highlights into the recently released music video. However, this is not just your basic wedding video – Combs took several photographs of him and Lauren and placed them in a storybook. Throughout the video, you see an elderly man with his granddaughter flipping through the album after the young girl asks, “Grandpa, are fairy tales real?”
To go along with the romantic message and storyline, you will see Luke getting choked up when he sees Lauren dressed in white for the very first time walking down the aisle. “All of my music videos mean a lot to me, but this one is super special since it features a lot of footage from Nicole’s and my wedding,” says the country star on Twitter. “That was the best day of my life and I’m super lucky to be married to my best friend.”
