Taylor Swift sings “Tim McGraw” to Tim McGraw – 2007
It’s hard to imagine a time before Taylor Swift dominated every part of the music industry, but back in 2007 she was just emerging onto the country scene. She performed her debut single, “Tim McGraw,” the same night she received her first nomination at the awards show – Top New Female Vocalist of the Year, which she lost to Miranda Lambert.
During the performance, she went into the audience and met the actual Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill and freaked out as we all would.
