With raw lyrics and badass beats, Kassi Ashton is truly one of the most compelling rising stars in Nashville. It’s no surprise why artists like Keith Urban and Maren Morris love her!
With three singles under her belt for 2019, Ashton says the secret to making good music is having no boundaries on what you can and can’t do.
“There’s no box, boundary, or list of things we have to do,” she says about the creative process. “What my producer thinks is cool I also think is cool, so its really our open sandbox to play in when we go into the studio.”
The California, Missouri native performed the tracks, as well as new music, during the 2019 CMA Music Festival earlier this summer in Nashville. Fans can relive her performance during the CMA Fest TV special airing tonight, August 4th @ 8PM on ABC.
