With heart-on-your sleeve lyrics and full-bodied vocals, Carly Pearce has long emulated the rich sounds of her 90s Country influences.
This weekend, fans will see eras collide when she takes the stage with one of her early inspirations, Deana Carter, for a special rendition of Carter’s 1996 No. 1 hit “Strawberry Wine.”
“I cover ‘Strawberry Wine’ in a lot of my shows, but the experience of standing next to Deana … chills,” recalls Carly. “She has one of those honest, encompassing voices that you really feel in your core. I’m honored we could perform together!”
