Hayley Orrantia marked a HUGE milestone in her career this year by crossing the nation on her first-ever headlining tour.
The 24-year-old country singer and The Goldbergs actress sat down with Celeb Secrets Country in Nashville earlier this month to talk about the string of shows with The Voice alum Brennley Brown, saying it was a “learning experience” that she plans on putting into her music.
“[I learned] that it takes a village,” Orrantia shared. “I really loved the experience because I’m not at that point in my career where I necessarily have like buses coming and all these people working [for me], so it’s been really cool to kind of do that grind of ‘I put my own merch out’ and haul other things. It was just a whole bonding experience.”
Fans that caught Hayley in their city were treated to TONS of new music on, that she’s hoping will be out very soon.
“[The music] is definitely country/pop, but I really try to put a little bit of funk and groove into it because that’s what I grew up on and that’s just where I gravitate towards, so I’m just trying to find that right producer and writers that get what I’m trying to do and put that into my stories,” she said.
