Making your musical debut is not easy. You only get one shot to make a first impression, and Kelsey Lamb‘s was one we truly can’t forget for all the right reasons.
Earlier this year, the country songstress introduced herself to the world with her single “Little By Little.” Co-written with Erik Dinardo and Jesse Labelle, and produced by Bill McDermott, “Little By Little” is a universal truth-tale about a relationship meeting in the middle.
“I basically brought the title “Little By Little” in with Erik on our first write and then we continued putting it together,” Lamb tells CS Country exclusively during an interview at the 2018 CMA Music Festival last week. “It really wasn’t like what we wanted yet, so we brought Jesse in for the next write and it was totally brought to life. At the time, I was in a point with my new relationship where you have to meet in the middle and compromise, and it’s exactly what the song is about.”
The music video, which was released earlier today, stars Lamb and her love interest (played by David Joniak) and was filmed in East Nashville. The fun visual portrays a young couple in the early stages of a relationship, hitting us right in the feels as it brings back memories with our first loves.
