Every year during CMA Fest, Pandora brings Backroads Radio to life with an interactive event celebrating country music fans. This year, the music streaming app teamed up with Brad Paisley, Morgan Evans, and Carly Pearce at Marathon Music Works for an intimate concert event filled with good music and even better swag bags.
To kick things off, concertgoers hopped in line for an interactive gif souvenir at the Ashley Furniture photo booth. Before securing their spot in the crowd, fans snacked on Twisted Tea and Ball Park hot dogs, giving them MORE swag to take home with a special scavenger hunt.
Nashville’s fastest rising female Carly Pearce set the tone for an unforgettable night. Performing songs off her debut album, the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominee had the crowd swaying along to her No. 1 hits “Every Little Thing” and “Hide the Wine.”
Following Pearce, Warner Music Nashville artist Morgan Evans took the stage for an absolutely electrifying performance. The biggest highlight of the night happened towards the end of the country crooner’s set; during “Kiss Somebody,” Evans welcomed Ted Serro and his girlfriend out on stage, bringing simultaneous “oohs” and “aww’s” that echoed the venue from everyone in attendance. Before the set ended, Ted got down on one knee and proposed to his now fiancée. It was a moment that everyone will remember!
After listening to ear candy from some of Music City’s most authentic artists, fans were treated to a super last minute performance from Brad Paisley. The 10x CMA Awards host filled in for headliners Lady Antebellum who cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and did not disappoint. Playing hit after hit, Paisley showcased not only his true talent, but also his professionalism as an artist by filling in and giving fans a concert that they will be talking about from years to come.
