Back in January, we told you that it was going to be a BIG year for Blue Honey, as the husband and wife duo said that new music was in the plans for 2018.
Today, we’re getting a taste of what they talked about with the release of their new single “August Without Us.” The bright, mid-tempo summer jam was produced by Troy and Kassie and written by K. Brooks, T. Brooks, and M. Willis. It has quickly become a fan favorite at Blue Honey’s live shows and depicts a story of a summer love that faded away. Kassie’s distinct vocal styling paired with Troy’s harmonies creates a song that’s sure to get stuck in your head.
“This song was as fun to write as it is to perform. We haven’t been this excited about a song in a long time,” exclaims Kassie and Troy. “We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
“August Without Us” is the first single off the duo’s sophomore project, which will be released later this year.
