When Ruthie Collins was living on a vineyard in Fredonia, NY, she developed a love affair for both country music and all things vintage.
Fast forward years later and Collins is living in Nashville pursuing a country career while shopping in Music City’s trendiest vintage stores in her free time. Signed to Curb Records, Ruthie has even teamed up with her label to weave both her love for music and interest in DIY projects into multiple award-winning social media series. The result? A co-hosting gig on A&E’s Home Made airing each Sunday on the network!
Last week, the CS Country team met up with Ruthie in Music City to do one thing — DIY CRAFTS! The country songstress gave us a step-by-step breakdown on how to make our own, vintage necktie out of a bandana. It’s the perfect fall accessory!
In case you didn’t know, Ruthie just dropped her debut album Get Drunk And Cry this month and it’s absolutely amazing. Featuring 10 tracks all penned by Collins, the compilation of songs are not only personal, but also radio worthy. Listen to the album below.
