Things are looking up for Morgan Wallen this year!
The country singer/songwriter is touring the country playing in front of thousands of people on Florida Georgia Line‘s Smooth Tour with additional headlining shows and music festivals throughout the summer.
This is not the first time that Morgan has toured with the boys of FGL. He performed on a string of dates on the Dig Your Roots Tour with Tyler and Brian, Chris Lane, and Dustin Lynch, too!
“I was at the end of Dig Your Roots Tour with Florida Georgia Line, Chris Lane, and Dustin Lynch, and at the end they all pranked everybody,”Wallen recalls about his time on the road. “I didn’t get to prank because I wasn’t on the whole tour to get pranked, but Chris came out during Dustin’s set wearing a cowboy hat and dressing like Dustin, did his little moves on stage with him so that was funny.”
“The drummer for Florida Georgia Line — I don’t know if this is a known fact, but he is like the instigator of all instigators. Like every prank that happens is because of this man. He put baby powder all into Cory Lane [Chris’s twin brother] and put baby powder in his drum set so the whole time he’s hitting it theres just baby powder flying everywhere. He also likes throwing underwear at him from behind the stage. If you see any pranks going on during the tour its because of him.”
LOL!
Think that’s all Morgan can pack into his heavy schedule? Think again, because the “The Way I Talk” singer is working on new music as well!
“I would say a little more of the same kind of thing with my sound,” Wallen shares about his new project. “We went the old school rock and roll kind of way and doing it with the full band, recording it all live and that kind of thing. I’ve got a few songs that have a little bit more energy, a little bit more rock. I’ve got all different kinds of songs, a couple heartbreak songs, some love songs, and some things I haven’t really explored yet.“
