Loretta Lynn becomes first female to win Entertainer of the Year – 1976 ACMs
In genre dominated by men, Loretta Lynn beat out big names like Glen Campbell, Roy Clark, and John Denver to become to the first woman to win the prestigious ACM.
“I’d like to say that I sure am proud. And I want to thank all of you,” she said.
