Marking another high point in his breathtaking climb to stardom, breakout artist Chris Lane is humbled and elated to earn his first-ever Academy of Country Music Awards nomination for the 52nd ACM Awards.
Earlier today (2/16), Lane was recognized in the New Male Vocalist of the Year category, capping a year that found him scoring a #1 debut with the addictive pulse of GOLD-certified “Fix,” racking up rave reviews on major tours and making high-profile national TV appearances.
“I’m super excited and in shock over my first ACM nomination,” exclaims Lane. “It is such an honor to be nominated by my peers and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in Vegas!”
Lane’s current single “For Her” continues to rise at Country radio, also rocketing to #1 on the iTunes Top Country Songs chart following a special appearance on ABC’s reality romance series The Bachelor. The devoted, hearts-on-fire confession of love is the second release from Lane’s debut album, GIRL PROBLEMS.
Currently opening sold-out shows on Florida Georgia Line’s DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, Lane will also join select dates of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s hotly anticipated SOUL2SOUL TOUR.
