Carrie Underwood to Debut New Single, “Church Bells,” at ACM Awards

Carrie Underwood is set to debut her new single, Church Bells, this Sunday at the Academy of Country Music Awards; Underwood is one of several performers at this year’s event. The song will be her third single off her latest album Storyteller.

“I love songs about strong women,” says Underwood. “I love being sucked into that story: rooting for the woman and seeing that she does something powerful that she never thought she could do. People are strongest when they’re pushed to their limits.”

You can also check out a preview of the video for Church Bells, which was posted on Underwood’s Facebook page, down below:

Underwood is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards, so make sure you tune in to CBS this Sunday at 8pm ET/7PM CT in order to find out if she wins. In addition to performing Sunday at the awards show, Underwood can be found headlining at the ACM Party for a Cause Festival today, which benefits ACM Lifting Lives.
