Brooke Eden brought the healing power of music to patients in Nashville this week.
The “Act Like You Don’t” singer teamed up with Musicians On Call and Southwest Airlines to treat patients, families, and caregivers at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to a performance of her own song “American Dreamin” for the nonprofit’s Bedside Performance Program.
“Working with Musicians on Call has been a dream of mine for so long and I am so happy I finally got to be a part of this amazing organization,” said Brooke. “Being able to talk with the patients and share joy through music was an experience I will never forget. I am so grateful to Southwest and Musicians on Call for making this happen!”
Later that evening, Eden performed for a sold-out crowd at NASH Icon’s Rhythm and Boots series, benefiting Musicians On Call. Curb Records Recording Artist Lee Brice, Musicians On Call’s first volunteer in Nashville, headlined the show.
We love how Brooke found time in her busy schedule to meet with patients and give them a special performance. It probably brought huge smiles to their faces and made their day!
