With his solo career quickly gaining traction, Jordan Harvey is ready to take over the country music scene with TONS of new tunes on the way.

After leaving King Calaway back in 2020, the Caledonian cowboy instantly began to work on some individual music, all leading up to the release of his debut EP, It Is What It Is, in January of 2023.

Consisting of smash hits like “Along For The Ride,” “Alabama Girl” and “I Will,” his one-of-a-kind EP has already paved the way for a VERY successful solo career, with some of his “deepest, most meaningful stuff” on the horizon.

“It’s been so good,” he gushed backstage at CMA Fest 2023 in Nashville last month. “I’m just taking it a day at a time. It’s a slow build when you take something to radio — It can take up to a year, sometimes a little longer.”

“We’re working every single day, and it’s great to see it connected with people…. That’s when you know you have something. When someone is connecting, even at a small level. Now the only issue is exposure, so it’s now getting exposed to the next audience and the next audience,” the emerging artist continued passionately.

He concluded, “Trust me, I’ve put out songs before that’s translated with absolutely nobody, so it’s good to see that this one specifically is really hitting home,” and we can’t wait to see his career continue to grow as the months progress.

With his It Is What It Is EP continuously gaining traction, Jordan Harvey is not stopping anytime soon. The country crooner is working on TONS of new tunes, ultimately revealing to Celeb Secrets, “I would say I’m in the best creative place of my life, and I have this real spark for writing right now.”

“I’m writing the best stuff I’ve ever written in my life and people are asking like, ‘Oh, when’s new music coming? When’s new music coming?’ and honestly, right now all I’m focused on is this spark I’m on,” the talented singer-songwriter dished. “The team [and] the label are phenomenal because they’re just saying, ‘Hey, don’t damp it right now, you know? Just keep it going and keep writing,’ so as soon as that spark dulls, we’ll get back in the studio and we’ll cut some of the stuff that I’m so excited about writing.”

As for what this new music actually consists of, Harvey shared that he is “definitely writing the deepest, most meaningful stuff [he has] ever written… Specifically some stuff about growing up in [his] hometown, leaving [his] hometown, you know, past relationships and all that kind of stuff.”

“I think that the record we have right now is the best introduction to who I am as an artist, but I will tell you the best is yet to come,” he teased with a grin.

Aside from working on new music, Jordan Harvey has been touring like crazy. Having just wrapped a spring tour with his good friend and fellow musical maestro, Cooper Alan, he has even more live performances lined up for the near future.

“Cooper is awesome. He was so good to me, and  we had a great run of shows. Seeing people sing the tunes back was awesome,” he shared. “I’m out doing some shows with Lauren Weintraub right now, which is super cool.”

“Apparently we’re gonna be out in the in the fall, you know, with a slam packed schedule, so I will bring that to Celeb Secrets TV as soon as my manager gives me the go,” Harvey teased with a smirk.
