The 2021 Concert for Love and Acceptance will stream live tonight (June 30) across CMT’s social media platforms and CS Country has the scoop on what you can expect from the big night.

The virtual event will be co-hosted by country music star Ty Herndon and CMT host and producer Cody Alan.

Herndon, who created the concert in 2015, holds the event close to his heart. Taste of Country reports that the country music star hopes the event will resonate with people worldwide.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with the dynamic team at CMT once again to bring the Concert for Love and Acceptance to a broad audience as musicians, actors, comedians and more demonstrate their support for LGBTQ youth and artists in the country music community and beyond,” said Herndon. “This event comes from my heart, and I hope it continues to resonate with people all around the world as we spread a message of acceptance for all people and work toward a world where only love remains.”

Singing a similar tune, Alan shared that he feels it is a “privilege” to co-host this event.

“It’s a privilege to return as co-host of the annual Concert for Love and Acceptance, whose mission is as important today as when it launched six years ago,” said Alan. “With dangerous and discriminatory legislation pending in our home state of Tennessee, the vocal support of the country music community is immeasurable in changing hearts and minds.”

Herndon and Alan are not alone in that venture, as many high profile stars have come together for tonight’s virtual show.
