Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan are kicking on their cowboy boots and heading straight to Vegas baby!
On Wednesday, April 12, the two country music icons announced that they will be joining Celine Dion and Katy Perry as headliners at the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas.
The seven-time Grammy-award winner and three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, Carrie Underwood will kick-start her first-ever residency – REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency on December 1 at the 5,000-capacity world-class concert venue.
“Touring is one of my favorite things I get to do as a performer and we’ve all really been missing that. I love being on the road and coming to the fans where they live but it will also be fun to get to do multiple shows in one place where people will be able to come to get that concert experience and have some fun in Las Vegas at the same time,” says the country music powerhouse in a recent statement. “It’s such a special honor to be one of the first artists to get to perform in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination as Resorts World Las Vegas,” she adds.
The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas is set to open its doors in November of 2021 and will be exclusively programmed and operated by Concerts West/ AEG Presents. The party will start on Friday, November 5 with Celine Dion.
The “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” singer will be returning to Vegas with a brand-new show and a special opening night performance to benefit the COVID-19 Relief. Following the superstar, Carrie Underwood is scheduled for December 1, 3, 4, 8,10, and 11. After the country artist wraps up her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, Katy Perry will take center stage on Wednesday, December 29 and Luke Bryan will start his six-show Vegas experience on Friday, February 11.
“Man,I’m tremendously excited. Resorts World is essentially just creating and building an entertainment paradise for people that are wanting to go have amazing experiences,” Luke Bryan shared with PEOPLE. “To have a theater with all the bells, whistles, and wonderful technology at my fingertips, and a show that stands alone, that’s different from what I typically do out on the road.”
We’re looking forward to putting on a unique show at The @rwlvtheatre! I’m already working on ideas and can’t wait to play for you on this new playground where I can create a fun and high energy experience. Tickets go on sale 5/24 with shows starting in February 2022. pic.twitter.com/HvtQaoDxN1
