Devin Dawson‘s music video for “Dark Horse” is finally here!

The Nashville-based singer/songwriter invited his most exclusive fans and industry personnel to celebrate visual’s launch on Monday (February 25) in Music City.

Gathering at Warren Paint and Color Company, fans were able to get a fun inside look at where the video was shot! Fog machines, crime scene decor, and jailbird bartenders set the mood and provided an extra special and entertaining release (clearly Dawson and his management team know how to throw a party).

“This song means so much to me,” Dawson told the small group of attendees. “It’s a special one, it’s my story. I think it’s a lot of everyone’s story in this room which is what makes it so special. Because of that I wanted to make sure we got it right. We want to make sure we get it right every time, but this one more than ever. We had to get it right because of that.”

Dawson jumped off stage to join his fans side-by-side for the world premiere, watching the music video not once, but twice. He finished the event with live performances of “Asking For a Friend,” “Dip,” “All On Me,” and of course “Dark Horse.”

Celeb Secrets Country was beyond impressed with Dawson’s new music video which cleverly combines an interrogation room with a recording studio! The black and white also makes you feel dark and moody in all the best ways.

Co-written by Dawson, Andy Albert and Andrew DeRoberts,  “Dark Horse” is the third single and title track off his debut LP.  You can catch Dawson for a string of upcoming shows and festivals across the US, including Stagecoach! For more information visit devindawsonmusic.com.
