Trent Harmon is a mighty vocalist. His stratospheric ability won American Idol, but since the coronation over two years ago, Trent has been developing his personal sound through emotive songwriting and dynamite live shows.

His resulting debut album on Big Machine RecordsYou Got ‘Em All, features a hearty culmination of that hard work. Today, Harmon is sharing an acoustic performance of his stirring song “Her” from the record that we can’t get enough of.

The raw lyrics were inspired by his longtime girlfriend while he was away filming Idol with a pleading chorus: “You could be fine / You could be sweet / You could be everything that I need / You could be the fix / You could be the cure / But whatever you are, girl / One thing’s for sure / You’ll never be her, her, her, her / You’ll never be her, her, her, her.”

Fans can catch Trent on headline dates throughout the Summer in addition to opening spots on Rascal Flatts BACK TO US TOUR though the Fall.
