The weekend is almost here (thank GOD), and there’s no better way to kick it off than with new music. Our girl Alex Stern is doing just that, as her bright, upbeat track “Dreamin'” is finally out!
The earworm, co-produced by Stern and Josh Sudduth, authentically blends Stern’s confessional style songwriting with soaring guitar, capturing her raw nostalgic emotions and honest realizations about a memorable past relationship. Co-written with Matt Pingel, the track showcases Stern’s willingness as an artist to express unfiltered vulnerability and vividly paints a story listeners from everywhere can relate to.
“I wanted to capture the real emotions of nostalgia and regret I had felt when writing the track,” Stern says. “In releasing a song with such personal lyrics, I wanted to truthfully share my heart with listeners so they would be able to relate it to their own similar situations.”
