Moriah Peters and Chase Massoglia Talk New Movie “Because Of Grácia”

Moriah Peters: “”Easier” because Gracía’s story was very similar to my own high school experience. “More difficult” because I felt like I was re-watching my life in a lot of ways and there are so many things that I would’ve done or said differently. I was very much concerned with the appearance of following the rules of religion and often missed out on the mystery, drama and adventure of what it means to live a life of faith. I’m glad my experiences have taught me to open my eyes in that regard as an adult.”

Celeb Secrets Country: It looked on film as if you had great chemistry with Chris! How was it getting to know your fellow actors? 

Moriah Peters: “Chris Massoglia was a massive part of my learning experience. He has been an actor in major films from the time that he was a kid and it was quite common for him to be coaching me on my delivery in between takes. He did so with graciousness and encouragement so it was natural for me to be very comfortable with him on set. I formed lifelong friendships with most of the cast… We all happen to be in very similar walks of life. I feel quite lucky in that regard.”

Celeb Secrets Country: In your opinion, what is the main reason why people should watch this film? 

Moriah Peters: “I want people to see this film so they can be reminded of how perfectly God loves imperfect people. Every painful moment experienced by each character is redeemed into something beautiful and unexpected. I’m a strong believer in that same kind of transformation for our own lives.”

Celeb Secrets Country: Congratulations on announcing the new music group, TRALA! What can we expect from that? 

Moriah Peters: “Thank you! We release two more singles over the next two months and go on an arena two are called Winter Jam this November. I can’t wait for everyone to hear more of our music. I’m so proud of the creative work my bandmates, Jesi Jones, Julie Melucci and I have accomplished as a team. Celeb Secrets Country: Since we are Celeb Secrets, what is a secret or fun fact about yourself that you would like to share with us?

Moriah Peters: “When my husband is out of town, I invite my 130 lb Great Dane to sleep in his place to keep me warm. But don’t tell Joel, I don’t want him to have hurt feelings. Ha!”
