SONG OF THE YEAR (Award goes to Songwriter(s)): “Better Man” // Songwriter: Taylor Swift; “Blue Ain’t Your Color” // Songwriters: Clint Lagerberg, Hillary Lindsey, Steven Lee Olsen; “Body Like A Back Road” // Songwriters: Zach Crowell, Sam Hunt, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne; “Dirt On My Boots” // Songwriters: Rhett Akins, Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley; “Tin Man” // Songwriters: Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Keith Urban dominated with “Blue Ain’t Your Color” this year. Already garnering several CMT Music Awards in June, we feel that Keith will continue his hot streak with winning “Song of the Year.” Don’t rule out Miranda Lambert’s “Tin Man” though — Lambert could snag this from Urban, however, we’re pretty confident Keith will take this award home.

FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR: Kelsea Ballerini; Miranda Lambert; Reba McEntire; Maren Morris; Carrie Underwood

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Miranda Lambert is taking this home hands down. No wait. Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris deserve this too! But what about Carrie and Reba? UGH. This is SO hard! We really can’t put our finger on who will win this one, so we’re putting this in the hands of the CMA to decide.

MALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR: Dierks Bentley; Eric Church; Thomas Rhett; Chris Stapleton; Keith Urban

WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: Between new music, new babies and touring, Rhett is the male vocalist of the year this year. He deserves it!
