For over a decade, multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley has brought his “versatility in style, sound, and composition,” to the Grand Ole Opry stage, and last week’s appearance was no exception. Continuing to highlight the legends who stood before him, the Opry member has incorporated classic Country songs into each appearance this year, including last week’s rendition of Ray Price’s hit, “Heart Over Mind.”

“It’s like, ‘How else can we do things differently and keep pushing the envelope?’” Bentley told The Tennessean. “We all love classic country music, and when we get on the Opry stage that’s all we ever want to do. It’s just something we really enjoy and we’re looking forward to the next time we play the Opry and doing another song.”

“The decision to include a classic country song in every Opry set he plays is an extension of the bluegrass sets Bentley and his band opened shows with each night on his current tour,” (The Tennessean) as Bentley continues to take the stage each night with a bluegrass set in disguise before his 2017 WHAT THE HELL WORLD TOUR openers Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi take the stage. Following last night’s sold out show in Anaheim, CA, Bentley will next play in San Diego, CA tonight (8/25) and his hometown of Phoenix, AZ tomorrow (8/26).
