Julia Capogrossi is finally showing the world the visual for her song “Busch Light Budget” and CS Country has the exclusive premiere!

“I started writing ‘Busch Light Budget’ after going to the grocery store with my friends to get drinks! There was all this fancy stuff that we wanted, but we ended up getting cheap stuff because it’s what we were able to afford. But it didn’t matter at all! We had an amazing night because we were with each other. My friends and I love to make the most out of what we have and that’s exactly what this song is all about,” Capogrossi told CS Country.

About the video, Julia added, “It was such a great experience! What a long day of filming and doing the same scenes several times, but it was so much fun. The director, Joshua Lockhart, is so fun and crazy…just like me. haha! I got to meet so many people and had an amazing day with my team.”

“Busch Light Budget” has been getting some positive feedback so far, as it is currently getting airplay on country radio and climbing the Music Row Country Breakout Chart. Julia is also gearing up to pack her bags and head 5,000 miles south next month as she holds the coveted spot of the sole American entertainer at the San Pedro Country Music Festival held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

CS Country: Tell us about your latest song, “Busch Light Budget!”

Julia Capogrossi: “I started writing Busch Light Budget after going to the grocery store with my friends to get drinks! There was all this fancy stuff that we wanted, but we ended up getting cheap stuff because it’s what we were able to afford. But it didn’t matter at all! We had an amazing night because we were with each other. My friends and I love to make the most out of what we have and that’s exactly what this song is all about.”

CS Country: What was it like to film the fun video for that?

Julia Capogrossi: “It was such a great experience! What a long day of filming and doing the same scenes several times, but it was so much fun. The director, Joshua Lockhart, is so fun and crazy…just like me. I got to meet so many people and had an amazing day with my team.”

CS Country: Who are your biggest musical influences?

Julia Capogrossi: “Carrie Underwood is the ultimate! But I grew up loving Fleetwood Mac, Alan Jackson, the Eagles, and of course, Bruce Springsteen.”

CS Country: How would you describe your sound for someone who hasn’t heard you yet?

Julia Capogrossi: “It’s country with some pop in it! It also is very, very honest. I don’t hold back much when it comes to my lyrics, so be prepared for that!”

CS Country: At what point did you decide that you wanted to be an artist?

Julia Capogrossi: “I knew I wanted to be a singer since I was 6 years old, but I finally made the move to Nashville when I was 19!”

CS Country: When can we expect more music from you?

Julia Capogrossi: “Very, very soon! I’m always working on stuff and teasing some songs on social media.”

CS Country: Tell us about your CMA Fest experience this year!

Julia Capogrossi: “It was amazing! It was my very first CMA Fest! I performed at several stages around town, at events hosted by Renegade Radio Nashville as well as Nashville Universe. My favorite part, though, was meeting the fans at the Nashville Universe booth inside Fan Fair X. Some fans showed up with their own photos of me that they wanted me to sign! Everyone was so sweet and I can’t wait to next year!”

CS Country: Since we are Celeb Secrets Country, what is a secret about yourself that you would like to share?

Julia Capogrossi: “I can make the Chewbacca noise with my throat.”
