Celeb Secrets Country: Do you have any great fan stories that you want share with us? Or any that stood out to you that was really heart touching?
Jillian Jacqueline: “I had recently someone, one of my best friends, her ex boyfriend passed away and his dad asked me to sing at his funeral which was really overwhelming. I think there has been a couple weird requests for certain photos signed like where did you find my picture thats like a family picture not sure where you got it but nothing too crazy yet.”
Celeb Secrets Country: If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and what type of song would it be?
Jillian Jacqueline: “Theres a really long list. I love Keith Urban. I think he’s incredible. I love his music, so I would love to do something with him, write with him, or a duet. That would be great. I really love Grace Potter. She’s not country, but I’ve seen her show a couple times and I think she is so badass. I love the way she dresses. She’s like Tina Turner but white. She just totally has her own vibe and I would love to do something with her. Or just learn from her. I think the cool thing about where country music is going, even touring wise you can see different opportunities for like different genres of artists teaming up together and thats why I love the CMT Awards too because the collaborations are so crazy. I think Jason Derulo with Luke Bryan is gonna be really cool and Earth Wind and Fire, I just love that stuff.”
Celeb Secrets Country: What advice do you have for young people that are struggling and trying to find themselves?
Jillian Jacqueline: “My advice would probably be to be kind to yourself and learn to love yourself first before trying to love someone else or make them love you. I think for young people, it’s really important to take the time to get to know who you are. Don’t put pressure on growing up or knowing everything because that. I have gone through most of my 20s feeling like I knew everything and it turns out I didn’t know anything so i think its always just keep an open mind.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Since we are Celeb Secrets Country, is there a secret about yourself that you’d like to share with us?
Jillian Jacqueline: “I don’t really admit this a lot so guess its a secret! I impulsively buy clothes that I don’t need ALL the time. Like it’s actually a problem. I just got a business manager and he’s like “you can’t buy anymore clothes this month.” Like do I have a problem? I think I may have a shopping problem.”
