Celeb Secrets Country: Would you like to remain an independent artist or would you like to be signed?

Brody Caster: “I don’t really know! Back in the day you used to have to be signed to a major label, but now the way the industry is changing with all of the digital internet and radio stuff, independent artists are making a living and competing! Five years is a long time away and I’m going to just see what happens along the way.”

Celeb Secrets Country: Tell us about your song, “Trojan Horse!”

Brody Caster: “‘Trojan Horse’ is on the new record! I wrote that song a couple of years ago, it’s a love situation gone wrong. People hear the title and think its inappropriate, but its not! Its unique, I’m really proud of it, its based off of Greek Mythology and it compares the love with a girl to that story. It connects those two points well, its upbeat, its fun, its fast, its honky tonk, you can dance to it! We put some great harmonies on it and it’s the first song on the record.”

Celeb Secrets Country: Since we are Celeb Secrets Country, what is a secret you have that you’d like to share?

Brody Caster: “Well there was this one time, I was a kid, me and my brother got in an argument. If you were to look now, there is a dot on his leg. We were messing around, my parents don’t know this, well he pissed me off and he threw a shovel at me, and so I went inside and got my BB gun and I shot him in the leg. To this day, no one knows about that but him and me. Whenever we get into an argument and I’ll sign a hand gun and he’ll shut up. There is another secret but I don’t know if I should tell it…oh well here it goes. In high school I was dating this gal for a few months, it was around Christmas time, and I went to Christmas dinner. I was sitting around the dinner table with my family and my great grandma had asked me who my girlfriend was at the time, so I told her, and the whole room goes quiet, and she said “Is her dad’s name Mitch?” and I said, “Yeah,” and she starts busting off laughing. She then tells me we are cousins. Somewhere along that line, we were fifth cousins, and here is the best part. I call her, and this is on Christmas Day, and tell her we are related and this can’t continue. And she tells me that she has third cousins who are married and that she would like to keep dating. I said no. When people say Arkansas are hillbillies, no, Arkansas is where its at.”
