Celeb Secrets Country: What is your favorite song to play on stage?

Brody Caster: “I love playing “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” it really gets the people going! Especially growing up in Kansas, its kind of blue collar, they get off of work and they want to go to that bar to have a good time and drink. That song always gets the party started, I usually open with that one.”

Celeb Secrets Country: What do you think makes you unique as an artist?

Brody Caster: “There are a lot of guys who get up there and wear cowboy hats and sing, and I’ll level with you, I wear a cowboy hat, I always have. But people who come to my shows, it’s a lot different. I like to interact with my audience. I grew up playing in dive bars so our shows are very interactive, fun for all ages, and as an artist, I can go off of my own path during a live show.”

Celeb Secrets Country: Do you have a favorite story about one of your fans?

Brody Caster: “The coolest thing a fan has ever told me was that when I was playing a show in Arkansas, this older lady came up to me, and we had done a Bill Haley tune, “Rock Around the Clock,” and she came up and said that she saw Bill Haley when he was 25 years old, she said I did that song better than he did. That was the biggest compliment I could ever receive.”

Celeb Secrets Country: If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be?

Brody Caster: “Alan Jackson. Hands down. He’s my hero, I grew up listening to him and that would be a dream come true. We’d have to do be an old honky tonk song.”

Celeb Secrets Country: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Brody Caster: “Well hopefully doing music as a living. I don’t care if I’m Garth Brooks famous, I just want to be able to go out every night and play a show, I want to be able to sell out crowds, have a fan base, and when I release an album they’re going to buy it. I grew up blue collar out in the country, and I like to keep it that way.”
