Celeb Secrets Country: What drives you to be an artist?
Brody Caster: “You know, growing up, when they hear you sing, they put you down, tell you to keep it as a hobby. I use that hate to inspire me to keep trying and to keep working.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Where is your favorite place that you’ve performed?
Brody Caster: “The Opry! When I was in high school I was involved in chorale music. My senior year our choir got to perform at The Opry! That is was solidified to me that is what I wanted to pursue as a career, there was something about standing on that stage. Its my goal to go back and perform again.”
Celeb Secrets Country: How would you describe your sound for someone who hasn’t heard you yet?
Brody Caster: “If I was going to compare it to someone, maybe a young Alan Jackson or Craig Morgan. I grew up listening to country music, I have always been drawn to it. It is honky tonk, blues type stuff. We like to have a good time! On Just Gettin’ Started, I’ve got everything from slow, heart-wrenching tearjerkers all the way up to honky tonk dance tunes.”
Celeb Secrets Country: Who did you work with on this album?
Brody Caster: “Well, I produced it myself, the main guy, the lead engineer, would be Carter Green. It was mostly just me and him knocking it out of the park. All of the songs on there are ones that I’ve written, so I’m really proud of it because I’ve been working on it for a long time! I’m hoping it does really well.”
