Eclectic six-piece Delta Rae today announces their A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE EP, out March 24 on The Valory Music Co.

The Dann Huff-produced collection features four songs highlighting tight-knit harmonies of the Hölljes’ siblings Brittany (lead vocals), Eric (vocals, piano) and Ian (vocals, guitar) alongside Liz Hopkins (lead vocals, tambourine, auxiliary percussion) with Mike McKee (drums) and Grant Emerson (bass).

“As a band we strive to make people feel like they’re connected to each other through a place, an emotion or vivid moment in time,” said Brittany. “When you listen to these songs, envision the best summer of your life: It’s got young love and heartbreak, family and wildness, plenty of adventure.

Ian added, “From writing to recording, we brought a different level of focus and craftsmanship to this EP. We’re incredibly proud of it and hope our fans will be too.”

A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE EP Track List:
1.   “A Long And Happy Life” | Written by Eric Hölljes, Ian Hölljes
2.   “I Moved South” | Written by Eric Hölljes, Ian Hölljes
3.   “No Peace In Quiet” | Written by Eric Hölljes, Tiffany Goss, Adam Wood
4.   “Ain’t Love” | Written by Eric Hölljes, Ian Hölljes

The Durham, NC-based band’s music melds together Country and Americana storytelling over Gospel and Rock vocal stylings with Bluegrass musicianship. Also inspired by literature, Eric and Ian crafted lyrics for their first single, “A Long And Happy Life,” weaving four book titles from authors they admire. The troupe fittingly chose their moniker from a mythical story the Hölljes’ mother crafted about a Southern girl named Delta Rae who summons the Greek gods to earth.

Previously earning a slot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Delta Rae has also garnered national attention from prestigious media outlets as well as multiple late night television performances and billing on coveted festivals from Bonnaroo to Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

Delta Rae will bring their larger-than-life live show to the headline A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE SUMMER TOUR 2017 with stops in major markets such as New York City (5/22), Indianapolis (6/12), Chicago (6/17), Austin (7/21), Los Angeles (7/26), Seattle (8/2), Denver (8/5), Cincinnati (8/11), Boston (8/18), Philadelphia (8/22), Washington, DC (8/24) and a hometown visit in Carrboro, NC (6/3) along the way. Tickets are on sale now at deltarae.com/.
