We can all agree that the CMA Awards were “FIRE” this year, so to celebrate we picked out some of our favorite moments from the show!

Number One: Beyonce performing with the always entertaining Dixie Chicks was by far our favorite moment from the night. The iconic duet had us soaring as the superstars sang an awesome rendition of “Daddy Lessons.”

Number Two: Brothers Osborne pulling off the biggest upset of the night. TJ and John Osborne took home the award for Vocal Duo of the Year. The brothers had us swooning over their sheer shock and excitement over the win.

Number Three: Peyton Manning’s hilarious cameo. Manning had us laughing out loud during the opening monologue. Underwood and Paisley alluded to the quarter back and even had him serenade his “favorite singer” Kenny Chesney.

Number Four: Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood sharing a kiss on stage. It is no doubt that the Brooks and Yearwood are clear relationship goals. The couple performed a melody of classic hits and sealed their amazing performance with a kiss.

Number Five: Billy Ray Cyrus being the “joke” of the night. Paisley and Underwood poked fun at the country singer throughout the night, and we have to say that Cyrus took it like a champ.

Number Six: Maren Morris giving an emotional speech after winning New Artist of the Year. The newcomer took home the award and had us all feeling emotional as she could barely get through her speech. The “My Church” singer was overcome with emotion, and had us all feeling some type of way.

Number Seven: The sheer domination of women. This CMA’s were filled with women taking over the stage. Throughout the night it was clear that the ladies took down the house. With Dolly Parton receiving a lifetime achievement award her own personal “girl squad” sang an amazing tribute to the major Country Music influencer.

Country Music’s biggest night was not a disappointment this year. The show was a celebration of the history of the genre. We absolutely loved every second of the award show, and our hats go off to the Country Music Association for putting on such an amazing show. 50 years of Country Music never looked so good!
