Christmas is coming early this year, thanks to Brett Young!

The 40-year-old “You Didn’t” singer announced his first-ever Christmas album, Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classicswill arrive on Friday, October 22nd.

“I’ve always known that I wanted to make a Christmas album one day, it was just a matter of figuring out how I could do something a little bit different,” Brett shared in a statement. “We tapped into an old school, lo-fi sound with ‘Silver Bells,’ and knew we had the blueprint for a full album. It means the world that so many incredible artists who I respect were open to singing with me on the project… we don’t take the title ‘Brett Young and Friends’ lightly!”

Enlisting an all-star lineup of collaborators including Colbie Caillat, Sam Fischer, Dann Huff, Darius Rucker, Maddie & Tae, Chris Tomlin and Phil Wickham, the eight-song collection is a suave, jazzy production and the follow up to Young’s previously released Christmas song, “Silver Bells.” Fans can get a taste of the record today, as “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” featuring Sam Fischer is now available for streaming. Following the release of Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics, fans will be able to see the soulful stylings and must-see duets on television as Young will tape a special episode of CMT Crossroads, CMT Crossroads Christmas: Brett Young & Friends, that will air in the coming weeks leading to the holiday season.
