Fresh face Jessie Ritter kicked off the 2019 CMA Music Festival last week with a special performance at Ty Bentli’s Bentli Bash at the Cannery Ballroom on Tuesday (June 4) in Nashville, Tenn.
The singer performed her original songs alongside headliners Eli Young Band and Tyler Rich, and even took CS Country behind-the-scenes with an exclusive photo gallery that includes everything from soundcheck to her last song.
For those of you who don’t know, Ritter is a Southeast Missouri native who moved to Nashville after high school and perfected her craft while studying at Belmont. Upon graduation, she was offered a job with Carnival Cruise Line that took her across Australia, Europe and the Bahamas, performing four hours a day, six days a week for two years. Now based in Northwest Florida, Jessie hustles as her own manager, booker, publisher and promoter, traveling along the coast and beyond to share her music with fans. Jessie released her first full-length album COFFEE EVERY MORNING in 2018 and was named the winner of the NASH Next competition back in October, which landed her a recording deal with Big Machine Label Group.
