On Monday night (June 3), Pandora LIVE took over Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN to put on a show that’s unlike any other during the 2019 CMA Music Festival.
This event in particular does an incredible job of incorporating everything people love about coming to Nashville – food, drinks, and of course live music. And this year, Pandora teamed up with SiriusXM to broadcast the event LIVE over radio waves across the country!
The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation for this year’s lineup, which included Maren Morris, Lindsay Ell, and Tenille Townes. As patrons arrived, they began the night with a photo-op at Pandora LIVE’s photo booth, featuring a colorful backdrop and beautiful white guitar that fit the aesthetic perfectly. Before catching the first set, lines of people started to form for Krystal Burgers, Twisted Tea, and even at Cremo Grooming, which offered free barber service for guys, and super fitting gold crowns for the ladies!
Tenille Townes, who is currently on tour with Dierks Bentley, started off the night with a bang and gave old and new fans a performance they’ll always remember. The crowd was in a trance the entire set from her gravely voice, but when she started playing her single “Somebody’s Daughter,” a wave of emotions came over everybody!
Following Townes was the guitar goddess herself, Lindsay Ell. Lindsay’s sets are always a blast, but she really brought the funk to the Pandora LIVE event when she performed her song “Waiting on You”, and the Stevie Wonder classic, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” A highlight from her set was during her performance of her current single “Criminal,” she started belting the last pre-chorus through bullhorn to create a unique correlation to the songs namesake.
After hearing from two incredible artists, fans were ready for more. The final act of the night was the incomparable Maren Morris. The Grammy, Billboard Music Award, ACM, CMA and iHeartRadio Music Award winner took the stage with a confidence that made everyone stop and stare. Performing hits like “80’s Mercedes,” “My Church,” and her current single “Girl” rounded out a successful night of music at Pandora Live!
