Dan + Shay’s Self-Titled Album Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart

The album amassed over 200,000 album equivalents and 2,000,000 streams in its first week.

Congrats are in order for Dan + Shay — their new album just went No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart!

“We felt this was the perfect project to make a self-titled record,” said Shay Mooney. “This album represents who we are and where we’re going. We’re so proud of every song and can’t wait to see where it takes us. It takes an army to have a successful release. In just it’s first week on the market, Dan + Shay accumulated more than 200,000 album equivalents and 200,000,000 streams along the way, with “Tequila” being their fourth No. 1 single as it sits atop both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase / Country Aircheck charts.
