Inside Music City’s Newest DIY Gem AR Workshop Nashville

CS Country got a first look at the shop during its grand opening on April 20th.

Listen up, Nashville — there’s a new DIY haven in town and it’s bound to be your new hotspot this summer!

Located just two miles south of Broadway, AR Workshop Nashville is a boutique DIY setting with hands-on classes in which you can make custom and charming décor. Perfect for all ages, the hotspot offers you the ability to create framed or plank wood signs, serving trays, chalkboard art, centerpiece boxes, canvas pillows, totes and SO much more.

The best part? Instructors are present and ready to help if you mess up AND you can bring your own beer, wine, and snacks from home to enjoy! It’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to not stop by for a fun girls’ day, team-building event, family activity, or even a date night.

CS Country had the chance to check out the shop at a special preview on opening day (April 20) where we had the opportunity to meet with store owners Brandon Nunnally and Melissa Bowen, along with one of the founders of the franchise, Adria Ruff (the “R” in AR). We learned more about the idea behind the “roll-up-your-sleeves environment” that has sparked 81 stores across the nation to open its doors and now know why AR Workshops are becoming so popular. Getting to create “Pinterest-worthy” projects with hand-chosen, non-toxic stain and paint while spending time with the ones you care about truly make the best memories (and gifts).

What are you waiting for? Grab your friends, family, coworkers, or that special someone and start creating! AR Workshop Nashville is located at 2022A Lindell Ave, Nashville, TN 37203.
