Lauren Alaina – 2016

Lauren Alaina may have captured our hearts on American Idol in 2010, but it’s been a long journey to the top since then. Making her ACM debut in 2016, Alaina released her Road Less Traveled album last year and it became the top-streamed female country release of 2017. Lauren is also the only female vocalist to land two No. 1 country radio singles in 2017 with her empowering hit, “Road Less Traveled,” and with the Double Platinum-selling Brown collaboration, “What Ifs.” Currently climbing country radio’s Top 30 is Lauren’s latest, “Doin’ Fine.” She has now secured the title of ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

“This award is for so much more than just me,” says Lauren. “This award is for all the people who want to give up- Don’t. This award is proof that you can achieve what you want to achieve and get where you want to go.  Today, all of my dreams have come true.”
