Ever since Jordan Davis released his debut single “Singles You Up” earlier this year, we’ve been craving for more music from him. It seems like other country music fans felt the same way, as the increase for demand has absolutely skyrocketed!
Today, Jordan finally answered our prayers and released a brand-new track called “Slow Dance In a Parking Lot.” The official follow up to “Singles You Up” holds a special meaning for the singer/songwriter as it’s the first song Jordan wrote for his new publishing deal in 2015 following years of bartending on the site to pursue his music ambitions. Fans in Nashville can catch Jordan performing the song live at Music City Skate Jam with Kip Moore and Tony Hawk on Sunday, September 10th.
“‘Slow Dance In a Parking Lot’ is about a couple who doesn’t want their first date to end so they decide to use the opportunity to spend more time together, even if it’s in a Walmart parking lot,” says Jordan. “It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”
Hey guys! First off thank you for your incredible support for "Singles You Up". Thank you to the fans who have been with me from the start and to the new fans we've gained along the way. I'm so excited to see y'all on the road this fall on The Plead The Fifth Tour and to celebrate I'm stoked to announce I'm going to be releasing some new music starting with the first track tomorrow. Can't wait for y'all to hear these songs!
Celeb Secrets Country caught up with Jordan earlier this summer at the 2017 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, where we talked Davis’ debut single “Singles You Up,” making a major label debut, and so much more. Watch the full video below!
